The choice of a spinning reel depends on your fishing style. For casting from shore or boat, choose a lightweight reel spooled with a thin braid for more sensitivity. For jigging or light trolling, pick a stronger reel with a smooth, progressive drag to handle long fights.
A fluorocarbon leader improves stealth and prevents cuts. After each session, rinse your reel with fresh water and oil the main shaft to keep smooth rotation. Combine it with our sea spinning rods for a perfectly balanced setup.
A fast ratio (≥6:1) is ideal for active techniques like jigging or surface lures, while a mid ratio (≈5:1) suits slower retrieves or light trolling.
