Ideal for the manufacture of mortised frames or for those intended to be armed with a soft lure. Make the body of your rig (pin or corkscrew system) out of piano wire with a diameter of 60 to 80 hundredths for pike or zander fishing and 30 to 50 hundredths for rigs designed for minnow fishing. Can be used to make anti-cutting leaders for pike, e.g. when fishing with large jerkbaits, to prevent them from curling on the line body. In this case, use a diameter of 70 to 90 hundredths. The piano wire is also used to make staples on which to pinch a buckshot or for the bodies of spinnerbaits.
