This is a seriously high quality product, which is produced in the USA, primarily for the fishermen chasing giant yellowfin tuna on the long range boats out of Cabo, and San Diego.

The Braid is very fine, soft, supple, and casts like a dream.
Jerry Brown's Spectra solid line has very low stretch, so fish bites are easily felt and the hook-up is quick and effective. Spectra has higher strength and is also 1/3 thinner in diameter than monofilament of the same line test, so you can spool more line at a greater breaking strength onto a reel.

Spectra lines have a very long life, will not rot and are not damaged by UV sunlight. They have no memory, won't swell in water or lose strength when wet.
