CB. Nagamasa has a long flat body, center balance, and laser edge back design.
The freer the line tension when falling, the longer it catches water on a long flat surface, and the longer it slides horizontally due to its center balance center of gravity.
The jerk is more slow than the high-speed short pitch jerk, and if you move it freely without applying line tension when falling at a slow speed, you will slide for a long time while hitting the heel.
The trick to operating the rod is to make a quick throw and after it lands on the bottom, slowly retrieve it while bouncing the tip up about 30cm, intentionally creating line slack, and giving the jig a time lag to make a sliding action.
This method is especially effective for amberjack.
When jerking up after a slide, the knife edge on the back cuts through the water and swims while darting.
