The NEW Temple Reef "Reefer" series GT rods are highly versatile rods; they are suitable for both poppers and pencils.
With a medium fast taper, they have a soft tip and very strong back bone.
Best matched with a 18000 (Shimano) or 7000 (Daiwa) reel and PE10-12 line. If you like fishing with heavy lines, heavy drag and big baits to target huge GTs we will recommend this rod. The shorter length will allow plenty of leverage to the angler when battling with a huge GT. Although this is a heavy duty stick, you will not feel the sluggishness commonly found in this kind of rods.
