The leaded cage jig is specifically designed for fishing for large red squid.
The cage opens and closes quickly and easily, making it ideal for all types of bait fish (sardines, mackerel, chinchard, etc.).
It features a super-strong XL basket that can withstand the incredible power of large red squid.
The sharp spikes even have barbs to prevent unhooking!
Thanks to its attachment ring on the underside, the leaded cage jig can be fitted with an additional lead and/or a flashlight.
By adding a sufficiently heavy weight, the advantage will be to be able to fish for red squid by night from a boat at depths of 100 m or even by day at depths of over 400 m.
The lead and the basket also have a phosphorescent coating that will attract squid over long distances.
Its luminosity can even be increased tenfold by adding a Flash lamp !
