This is a powerful lure that can be used to attract fish just below the surface of the water, in situations where fish are being chased to the surface, or where there is sufficient activity but strong floating lures such as the Ryan and Rodeo are not getting any hits.
The trick is to keep reeling all the time, as the Gilla has no self-propulsion due to the nature of its movement, so the action stops and it's easy to miss if it's not constantly reeled in.
The speeds supported range from medium to very high.
We think the performance is equivalent to that of the Rodeo.
For the Brown version, the Kacho Fugetsu/Momiji lures produced this time feature a hologram of a red dragonfly flying amongst maple trees on the left and right sides, and the back is coloured with autumn leaves.
