Being on the water when its 40° demands a higher class tool, that’s why we developed our UPF 45+ Teak Fabric that takes breathability to new heights.
Although it specializes in breathability with an ultra soft feel, our Teak fabric also has performance characteristics such as 4-way stretch and moisture wicking characteristics.
Fit : True to size
Our Teak collection is made by combining a wood derivative to create a lightweight UPF45+ fabric, which is created by spinning wood pulp into fibre which then gets turned into fabric by combining it with Spandex and Polyester.
This shirt feels twice as soft as cotton and can handle 3x the amount of washes than cotton.
The Teak fabric composition includes recyclable polyester, which adds a layer of performance characteristics to the garment.
What we were specifically blown away with was the quick TTD (Time to Dry).
We measured the TTD to be around <3 minutes, which is significantly faster than the 5-10 minute industry standard.
