Increased strike drag, while maintaining freespool, make these reels excellent for fishing spectra lines and mono topshots. Smaller lighter tackle for large game fish. These reels are built from solid aluminum pipe stock that eliminates any frame flex. Anodized a rich gold color for great looks and excellent corrosion resistance. Updated features include Offset Ergonomic Power Grip Septon Handle, Permalube improves freespool, protection and durability of moving parts, chrome plated sideplate screws to improve corrosion resistance, indexed ratcheting drag lever for precision adjustment, eliminating the chance of the drag lever backing off due to vibration.  

The model LRS has the breaking system strength of a the reel above.
