The IKEJIME AMIAUD PECHE kit includes a Tekagi (spike) and a circuit breaker (cable).
It's the ideal tool for recreational anglers to use for Ikejime on most freshwater and saltwater fish such as sea bass, bream, pike-perch and zander.... with a length of less than 1m.
What is IKEJIME ?
Ikejime is an ancient Japanese method of neutralising the nervous system of a live fish before bleeding it.
Ikejime shows a profound respect for the fish you choose to kill.
Ikejime reduces the suffering of the fish during the killing process and enhances the visual and taste quality of the fish flesh.
IKEJIME technique
- Stage 1 - Killing
- Stage 2 - Bleeding
- Stage 3 - Destruction of the spinal cord (demedullation)
The Tegaki is covered with a non-slip handle that absorbs the noise caused by impacts on the boat's hull in the event of a fall.
The cable is easy to store thanks to a black spacer.
- Pick length : 120mm
- Diameters 5mm for the pick and 1,2mm for the cable
- Stainless steel and Nitinol
Handle these very sharp objects with care.
