In a laboratory test under extreme conditions, the temperature rise is reduced by 30% while maintaining a stable brake force, thus extreme smoothness of the brake.
A waterproof rubber seal is attached to the top of the spool washer. It effectively blocks the intrusion of sea water.
Carbon has been adopted for brake washers manufactured in the USA. A fine plain weave is selected from a number of wefts to achieve a fluid and powerful braiding.
