The PENN Conflict XR Tuna is an excellent series of rods designed for trolling and drifting.
These rods are technically perfect.
Equipped with an extremely strong blank with X-wrap technology and SeaGuide Heavy Duty guides, these rods can handle the biggest fish in the deep blue.
A unique feature of these rods is that they have double ligature rings mounted in a spiral (left); this prevents the line from touching the blank of the rod when pressed hard.
The aluminium reel seat is equipped with a double lock nut, ensuring a perfect fit of the reel on the rod. The cross X pattern and high-density EVA provide a perfect grip, while the smooth butt prevents the butt from getting damaged in the rod holder.
The aluminium gimbal offers extra strength and a secure connection to the harness during a fight.
